Marco Fontana and Daniele Salari are the owners of Cristalli di Zucchero, a pastry shop in Rome born from their long-standing friendship. Their project wants to show that quality still exists: the starting point is classic patisserie, but innovation is the key to understanding this shop, which spares no effort in finding the best ingredients and creating new products.

“Hi, I’m Marco and we opened our shop in 2018. It all stems from an idea: two lifelong friends meet and decide together to carry out a project, which will be called Cristalli di Zucchero. What is Cristalli di Zucchero? It is not just a pastry shop, but it’s a place where you can see that quality still exists. Starting from a classic patisserie, we always try to innovate it, we try to renovate our products while maintaining quality as a basis. From here, every day we find new products and new ideas that always push us forward.
Hi, I’m Daniele, and, as Marco said, we have been friends for a lifetime, and partners since 2018. The main goal was to offer the best to our customers, both in terms of food and in terms of care and dedication that the customers cand find inside our shop. We have chosen Le Piantagioni del Caffè, because it’s an Italian company that works very well and makes high-quality products that perfectly match the standards of our pastry products”.
