Coffee ground for moka must be kept in the fridge?
Hi, I’m Paolo from “Le Piantagioni del Caffè” and I will advise you on how to properly store coffee beans and ground coffee at home.
It is very important not to store coffee in the fridge because it oxidizes much faster.
Once it’s open, humidity enters and causes the coffee to oxidize very quickly.
Also do not store it in warm places or at a temperature higher than 25 degrees.
In this case, the coffee will release its essential oils and oxidize faster.
If you are used to storing coffee (beans or ground) in a glass jar, it’s important to keep it in a place away from sunlight, which is an aging factor for coffee.
