How to store coffee at the bar
Hello, I’m Paolo from “Le Piantagioni del caffè” and I will tell you
how to store coffee at the bar.
The first thing to do is to always keep it in a dry space with a temperature below 25 Celsius degrees
(10 to 25 degrees is fine).
Coffee should not be kept in the fridge because once the package is opened the fridge humidity enters, damages, and oxidizes the coffee much faster.
Likewise, coffee should not be kept in a very hot place because it tends to let essential oils escape and age faster. In conclusion: a dry place without humidity and in case you need to store it in transparent
containers, absolutely avoid exposure to sunlight.
