Hario V60
Hi, I’m Paolo from “Le Piantagioni del Caffè” and in this video I will talk about v60.
It was invented in the 1960s by Hario Japan, a Japanese company founded in the ‘20s which initially produced glass for the chemical industry.
As a matter of fact, its popularity began in the early 2000s with the introduction of a groove in drippers that favors the release of carbon dioxide in the early stages of brewing.
It is one of the most used items for alternative brewings by coffee lovers around the world.
We recommend using this method for our Dirompenti coffees:
Buenos Aires, La Pradera, and San Pedro.
As for the dose of coffee and water we suggest 60 grams of coffee per liter of water at a brewing temperature between 88 and 92 Celsius degrees.
The total brewing time ranges from 3 to 5 minutes if we use 30 grams for half a liter of water.
As a grind, it is recommended a medium grind that resembles slightly thicker sand.
