Melitta Dripper
Hi, I’m Paolo from “Le Piantagioni del Caffè” and in this video I will tell you about Melitta Dripper.
In 1908 Melitta Bentz was tired of drinking filter coffee with suspended powder residues.
She invented a brewing method that consists of two holes, a jug, and a filter to separate the coffee from the drink to get a very clean coffee without suspended residues.
We suggest this device for brewing our Dirompenti coffees: Buenos Aires, San Pedro, and La Pradera.
For the brewing, it is desirable a water temperature around 88 and 92 Celsius degrees, a medium grind similar to coarse sand, and a brewing time between 3 and 5 minutes.
