Dolcemascolo is a family pastry shop in Frosinone, which has produced quality pastries since the ‘60s. Despite the generational transfers and the influences of modern and international trends in pastry, the Dolcemascolo brothers wanted to keep a firm link with tradition.

Matteo Dolcemascolo introduced himself and he told us about the shop that he runs with his brother Simone:
“Hello everyone, I’m Matteo Dolcemascolo, in charge of the production of the Dolcemascolo Pastry shop. Our pastry shop was opened in the ‘60 by my grandfather, and was then run by my father. Finally, my brother and I have recently taken the reins of both the production and the sales. In 2012 I was lucky enough to attend an internship at the Cast Alimenti School, and I also had some experience abroad; nonetheless we have maintained our artisan tradition, preserving the selection of very important raw materials such as coffee. Together with Le Piantagioni del Caffè we have recently embarked on a project, and we feel really involved because we share the same philosophy, always in search of high-quality raw materials.”
