Hi, I’m Paolo from “Le Piantagioni del Caffè” in this video, I’m going to show you what to do when your grinder delivers a continuous dose.

Occasionally, a few clients contact us to tell us that their grinder, in this case, also this type of model, the “Eureka Olympus”, is delivering a continuous dose: I will show you why.

Here we’ve selected a double dose: if I press, I get a double dose. The same thing goes if I select the single dose, it delivers a single dose until the timer reaches zero. If, however, instead of just pressing once, I press and hold, you can see that both lights illuminate and the grinder gives me a continuous dose.

Until I stop pressing, the grinder won’t stop. In the beginning, we may hold it down because we’re afraid that the grinder won’t start when actually all we need to do is to press once. If we see both displays illuminated we need to remove the portafilter, or it will continue to brew.
